Our family was always in love with cats, those fluffy fur balls who make you smile and feel cozy at home. Before Murrrphy we had a Siam cat Misha. He passed away, when he was 15 because of some kidney disease. We all felt so upset and lost after this, that we just couldn’t take another cat for a very long time. When finally felt we are ready to do that, we started discussing the breeds and couldn’t decide between Scottish and Abissin ones. Eventually we agreed on a Scottish cat. We bought a little golden kitten. He was very shy, fearful and full of fleas.

Murrrphy at the age of 8 months

Murrrphy is a representative of the breed Scottish Fold.

Small Murrrphy was so cute and funny that we decided to post some of his photos on Instagram. With the time we got more and more followers. Today Hosico has fans from all over the world and everybody just loves this golden fluffy.

Normal Murrrphy’s weight is about 5 kg, in winter it decreases to 4.5 kg.

Murrrphy loves to play only with the new toys, in a week he would get bored of them. He prefers shoelaces, sheet of paper or tennis ball, none of those regular toys we’ve got for him from the pet shop. Murrrphy is scared of new people and places. Even if he finds some old stuff on another place, he would be surprised and frustrated. Everything that is displaced, might be dangerous!

Murrrphy is often compared with Puss in Boots from the ‘Shrek’ cartoon, or with Garfield, or even with a squirrel and a big hamster.
